Not so sedated 7 Months

We’ve been really lazy procrastinating quiet here but that really isn’t how it has been. Since the last post, we’ve been doing the usual. Practicing, doing shows and just trying our best to better ourselves but we too faced some not so usual stuff like a dispute with the neighbours about our practice space which had to to come to a temporarily stop. WE HAD TO STOP PRACTICING IN OUR OWN HOME.

I’ll just list down the High Points and the Low Points over the past 6 – 7 Months.

High Points

1. A new song titled “Obsessions” under our belts.
2. Got paid for the first time as a band
3. Met some great people along the way
4. Noise Singapore Workshop
5. Noise Singapore Apprenticeship Auditions
6. Meeting Shahrin. Possibly the best, talented and most reliable sessionist ever and a good friend.
7. Made some Friends & hopefully some new listeners along the way
8. StageWithoutBorders

Low Points

1. Imran’s unfortunate Injury
2. Nabeel Missing out shows due to NS
3. A petition was made against our practice space.
4. Stagewithoutborders

The High Points definitely outweigh the Low points and we’ve learned so much.

We look forward to what 2011 have installed for us and definitely we’ll keeps our hopes up high and our heads down low*.

the performance on sunday went quite well i must say despite my flu and wan being under the weather. a marked improvement on timing and tightness i might say myself.

been very bogged down by work and exams lately. (looking forward to post exam metronome training + backing track creation fiesta) but music has always been something of a deserved respite at the end of the day. and nothing a song that  really sings to your heart. like this song -

HELLO EVERY ONE!!!

Hey guys,

Everyone has been real busy with school and national service that we barely have a chance to get together in our space for a real practice session but all is fine.We have a show coming on the 9th of May at Blackhole212 and its free!!

We are pretty excited and trying to get our stuff together for the show and trying some new stuff out and possibly a surprise for y’all on the 9th! Picking up where we left of from the Baybeats audition.Haha.Not the most memorable moment for us but definitely a surreal one for all of us nonetheless,congratulations to the bands who made it to the top 8!

Our last practice session with 3/5 of the band playing to a metronome practice session.

The old switcheroo. This is what happens when everyone takes a breather.

In case you were wondering. Beel practices with the band topless, sometimes.

We didn’t make it through to Round 2 of baybeats.

Its all fine in the camp. Everyone is more focused now than ever and things are starting to fall in place.

In the meantime, take care everybody and drink lots of water. The weather is a killer.

This probably is the biggest news we have received as a band since we found out Megan fox could actually be a man but that issue is done and dusted because she is not!!

We are pretty stoked that we are among the 30 bands selected for Baybeats 2010 auditions this year!!

We will dive right into mix!!

Talking With Our Mouths Closed

Hey guys,

Hope all you guys out there are doing well.

With Nabeel in camp and the rest of us busy with school and work, we thought things would naturally take a back seat this month and we all would just make do with what we have already.

However, it’s not been that way at all. We have been working on a new song and hopefully we can get it out soon for you guys to hear it. Miss you Nabeel, we hope you are able to get your monkey black Chris Tucker ass out of NS and complete the circle.

Finally!!! We have something to show after a whole year of cooping ourselves up in our practice space and just doing our stuff.
